On September 17 ChibiOS will be 10 years old
We are thinking to organize a live event for our users. Among the ideas (nothing final):
- Presentation from ST (see below).
- ChibiOS official seminary (topics TBD, please suggest).
- Topics proposed by participants.
- Users presenting their projects.
- Users speeches regarding ChibiOS on their products (a registration beforehand will be probably required).
- We are evaluating a guided tour in "Costiera Amalfitana" over weekend, incredibly beautiful places, try googling it (depends on numbers).
- Other ideas?
The event would be hosted in the STMicroelectronics site of Arzano (Napoli) that would be the main sponsor and donate boards and HW in order to support activities. ST will take care of lunch during the event, we could try to make an agreement with hotels, it depends on numbers. It would happen sometime in September TBD, duration is TBD, good time for a vacation here too, weather is usually splendid and there is a lot to see, you could make good use of the adjacent weekend.
ST can accommodate about 80 persons with laptops, 4 persons/desk. The auditorium has 2 video projectors, audio and a WiFi hotspot for guests. Parking is no problem for those arriving in car, the place is easily reachable from highway, airport is 15 minutes away.
