Hi,
It's now working !
I suppressed the Sensor and VREF channel, and also augmented the ADC_GRP1_BUF_DEPTH to 512 instead of 4.
I don't know well why this config is better, but it's better
Here is my new config:
#define ADC_GRP1_NUM_CHANNELS 2
#define ADC_GRP1_BUF_DEPTH 512
adcsample_t ADC ...

Re: Problem with I2C1
I can communicate now with the LTC2945 \o/
I was using a false address, (D6 instead of 6B (bit0)), D6>>1 = 6B
Anyway, thanks for the help !

Re: Problem with I2C1
Small update,
I just saw I was using a wrong address...
I will test again tonight with the good one this time and see if it's better.
another question: if I want to read a register, can I use i2cMasterTransmit and read back the rxbytes ?
Or should I use i2cMasterReceive instead ?

Re: ADC1 configuration
PC5 is unconnected, but PC4 is connected to a thermal sensor (LM35).
And I assume that PC1 should be connected to the internal sensor of the STM.

Re: ADC1 configuration
Hi,
I changed my ADC configuration and took the demo code as example. I want to read PC1(internal temp sensor) PC4 et PC5.
So I made this config :
#define ADC_GRP1_NUM_CHANNELS 4
#define ADC_GRP1_BUF_DEPTH 4
const ADCConversionGroup adcgrp1_cfg =
{
FALSE,
ADC_GRP1_NUM_CHANNELS,
NULL,
NULL ...

Hi steved !
The value of LTC2945_ADDR is 0x6B.

Re: Problem with I2C1
Hi,
I'm working on the I2C1 for a LTC2945 component on the STM32F4 discovery board and I'm facing a similar issue.
You wrote that you modified the board.h file concerning the IC21, what did you modified to get it working ?
How can I ensure that I don't have 2 pins assigned to the same alternate ...

Yes, they are not so random after all, but not usefull
I just tried on PB0 and PB1 pins, and I got the same result...

Re: ADC1 configuration
I already tried to connect to VDD/GND but I have the same "random" values (see image)
g_PC1_mV and g_avg_PC1 are float type, so this should be ok.

Re: ADC1 configuration
Yes, I do it during the initialization :
/****************************************************************************************************
* Initializes the ADC driver 1 for pins PC1,2,3,4 and enable the thermal sensor. ...
