Re: javaw.exe not found, latest version, Win8.1

Hello Giovanni,

usinga complete 64-bit toolchain (OS, Eclipse, Java) and cannot switch easily.
As I have a stable Eclipse ChibioOs configuration now this thread can be closed as I do not need ChibiStudio any more.

Re: Error "'GPIO_TypeDef' undeclared here" in main.c

Hello Giovanni,

everything working here now.
Chibios is compiled, linked and can be loaded and debugged via ST-Link using eclipse Kepler and CDT buider - not Makefile.
Will refrain from using Chibi-Studio (see there).

Re: Error "'GPIO_TypeDef' undeclared here" in main.c

Hello giovanni,

ha - sorry. Inspecting the console output a bit more in deep I saw that it is already the last gcc call - the linker call that failed.
Will include the linker scpript there :)

Re: Error "'GPIO_TypeDef' undeclared here" in main.c

Hi Giovanni,

thus far many thanks for your help.
Yes - I set up a completely new Eclipse project NOT using the Makefile.

From the previous error of SPIConfig I learned that there are different definitions of SPIConfig. One in os/hal/templates/spi_lld.h and others in os/hal/platforms/STM32/SPIv1 ...

Re: Error "'GPIO_TypeDef' undeclared here" in main.c

Hello Giovanni,

What do you mean by "unpatched stm32f4xx.h"?
The stm32f4xx.h is in originally delivered state as comes from the demo, nothing changed in the demo, the path "ChibiOS_2.6.1\os\hal\platforms\STM32F4xx" is in the include path definitions, a further "include stm32f4xx.h" in main.c does ...

Re: javaw.exe not found, latest version, Win8.1

Hello Giovanni,

Java JRE works without any problmems.
Question is: which eclipse version do you use - 32 or 64bit?
System here is 64bit OS with 64bit Java.
From the eclipse.ini entry which states "win32.win32.x86_1.1.200.v20120522-1813" I assume that your Juno version is an 32bit version hat might ...

Error "'GPIO_TypeDef' undeclared here" in main.c

Hello,

when compiling the stm32f4xx_discovery demo I run into the following error:

The corresponding code is:

javaw.exe not found, latest version, Win8.1

Hello,

I installed ChibiStuido latest version today in c:/.
When I try to start Eclipse via the start.bat it complains that it does not find a javaw.exe. PATH icludes the path to the bin, eclipse Kepler (located somewhere else) starts without problems, opening a cmd window and executing javaw is ...
