I am honestly not sure what was going on with my measurements back there but it is all sorted now.
I did have DC coupling and the voltage between VDD and GND was 3V as I was expecting. the MOSFETS I was driving had a Vgs of 2V, or so the datasheet stated. The problem was solved by simply changing ...

Re: change external interrupt from button to pin
Hi Giovanni,
Thank you for the quick reply!
I'm afraid I don't follow, I don't see any arrays.
does the interrupt handler work on ports rather than pins? So if I have port A specified as I do here does that mean that I can use any pin on Port A?
Thank you

change external interrupt from button to pin
Hi,
I have been trying to work around the EXT functions and I can't seem to find out how to trigger events from an external pin. this code allows me to do what I want but with the user button which i think is mapped on GPIOA pin 5 but the EXTConfig doesn't seem to have a place where I can specify ...

Re: undefined reference to `_sbrk' when using atof() functio
Hi, thanks for the info!
it seems that all I needed to do was add syscalls.c to my makefile and that solved my problem!

undefined reference to `_sbrk' when using atof() function
Hi,
I am trying to cast a string as a float in a function, I was successfully able to cast a string as an integer in the same function and I can compile the code without any errors as long as I comment out the atof() part.
my code is:
void cmd_color(BaseSequentialStream *chp, int argc, char ...

Re: Set PWM output range between VDD and GND
Hi,
thank you for the quick reply, I will look into the EXT driver.
I should have probably noted that the GND point I am measuring from is the actual GND pin on the board, I assumed that there is no necessary initialisation for that and hence based on the GND pin ground point my oscilloscope shows ...

Set PWM output range between VDD and GND
Hi,
I'm very new to embedded development in general and chibios in particular.
I need to write a program that activates 4 individually controlled PWM channels on external pins on an STM32F4Discovery development board.
I managed to get PWM up and running but am facing two problems.
