Thanks for reply,
If your CPU uses the UART2 driver, I use a modified version which gives the option of using only interrupts for the UART transfers - well tested in some specific configurations.
Not quite what you're asking, but might solve the problem in a slightly different way.

Request UART Driver Receive/Transmit Only.
Any chance UART driver will be split into Receive or Transmit only? Because this will save DMA to another purpose if our project is very complex.
Receive only mcuconf.h will be like this,
#define STM32_UART_USART1_RX_DMA_STREAM STM32_DMA_STREAM_ID(2, 5)
#define STM32_UART_USART1_TX_DMA_STREAM OFF ...

Re: Calling stm32 internal bootloader from application
Hi, Geoffroy
Maybe you need more than ChSysDisable(). You need to stop entire OS like this

Tell us if you successful with this project,

Re: Demo with static compilation
Hi,
after tried Giovanni suggestion, i build successfully but still error if build with -flto option. I compiled main.c with crt1.c, crt0_v7m.S and vectors.c.
Thanks,
Those symbols are part of the startup files so it is a guess, probably it is related to linker garbage collector and/or LTO

problem with buffer for DAC DUAL
Hi,
I'm trying DUAL DAC from TESTHAL but cannot get sine wave output.
I'm using STM32-F4 Discovery. Looks like this,

then after i see this note:

Re: UART DMA receive or transmit only
Another solution is to not use UART and SPI at the same time, you can start/stop drivers, DMAs are allocated/freed in start/stop.
i'll try this first, thanks Giovanni.

Re: UART DMA receive or transmit only
Hi Giovanni,
but i need DMA for UART4 receive and SPI2,
Any another solution?
Arif,
You could use the "serial" driver instead of the UART driver, it does not use DMAs

Any another solution?

UART DMA receive or transmit only
Hi,
My name is Arif,
I build a project and design PCB with STM32F407 using 4 Serial and 2 SPI. I forgot to open datasheet about DMA mapping,
I confusing about using SPI2 that DMA stream same location with UART3 and UART4. UART3 i used serial driver and not using DMA.
