Adding an argument to PAL event callbacks
I was excited to see that the PAL driver is getting events -- this seems like it'll be a much better way to handle sharing of interrupt resources between modules than the EXT driver.
As someone who'd like to have his cake and eat it too, however, I'd love to see palcallback_t be modified to have a ...

STM32F302x8 ADC bug (3.0.x)
This describes a bug found in chibios 3.0 (though it's still present in the master branch of the git repository).
The STM32F302x8 (as opposed to the 302xc) does not have an ADC2, and the ADC1_2_COMMON structure (defined in the CMSIS file) is therefore name ADC1_COMMON. This causes an error in adc ...

Possible bug in chibios 3.0.3 Serial driver
I'm writing an application which uses the Serial driver on an STM32F302 (it uses the STM32 USARTv2 serial lld). I wrote a loop which looks like the following (called in a regular thread context):
while (sdGetWouldBlock(&SD1))
sdGet(&SD1);
This caused a kernel panic with "SV#10", because ...

Re: Enable EXT from multiple places?
I'll keep that in mind, perhaps will end up writing my own wrapper after all.

Re: Enable EXT from multiple places?
As usual, right after I posted this I came across extSetChannelModeI(), which seems to do what I want (but I understand the drawbacks of any such implementation, that is, keeping the config in RAM). Thanks for the fast feedback!

Enable EXT from multiple places?
I have an application (running on an stm32f103) with a fairly large codebase -- for modularity, portability, and readability I've split it into several 'modules,' each which lives within its own file and has its own initialization routines. I have several different pins I want to monitor for changes ...

Re: sdRead fails to unblock after missing a packet
Thanks! I implemented something which uses sdGetWouldBLock rather than simply blocking the thread, and it at least allows the system to recover after missing a packet.
I found that the problem kicking it into this state was a mutex'd resource multiple threads were competing over; it was blocking my ...

sdRead fails to unblock after missing a packet
I'm working on a project which, among other things, uses XBee wireless modules for communication between nodes. The code runs on an STM32F103, and I'm using ChibiOS 2.6.6.
To talk to the modules, I'm using the standard chbios serial HAL, (sdRead and sdWrite). This works consistently and reliably ...
