Re: STM32F7 and ChibiOS
I'm going to buy that discovery kit. Is there any support for STM32F7 coming soon ? Does it hard to write board files of STM32F7 for ChibiOS ?

Re: Using bmp085 pressure sensor
Can we tweak it so it will also work with Bmp180 ?

You should look into the header file where the GLCD structure is defined, there it is where the stream behavior is inherited.
Giovanni
It's not defined in the header file, but maybe it's not working.
Never mind Giovanni, Thanks

Type casting custom structs to BaseSequentialStream
Hi,
I have seen an example on Github that are printing characters to a GLCD by chprintf(),
chprintf((BaseSequentialStream *)&GLCDD1, "chTimeNow: %d", chTimeNow());
Like this.
I have read the source of GLCD driver and couldn't find any relation between BaseSequentialStream and GLCD driver ...

Re: External clock for timer
Hi Giovanni,
Can you please explain this a little more, I seached a lot but couldn't find anything on using stm32f4 timers as pulse counters in ChibiOS.
Thank you
You should read the STM32 Reference Manual and program the timers accordingly at register level, ChibiOS is not directly related to ...

Re: External clock for timer
Hi,
Currently the HAL does not have a driver that does that, you may use the timer directly at register level and use RCC/NVIC functions in order to enable the timer clocks/ISRs like the HAL drivers do.

Re: Drawing functions for STM32F429 ILI9341 in ChibiOS
I just take a glance to main.c of your example and saw gtimerInit, gtimerStart and gfxSleepMilliseconds functions as I have not have experience with uGfx I thought that uGfx abstract ChibiOS system, sorry to have wrong assumptions about your library I will have LCD in my final device but I'm going ...

Re: Drawing functions for STM32F429 ILI9341 in ChibiOS
I looked at uGfx before and couldn't find the F429 demo now I looked again I found the demo and tried it. Is there a way I can loosely couple my application to uGfx ? I need display just for debugging purposes in the development phase, I don't want my timers and threads depend on uGfx because I want ...

Drawing functions for STM32F429 ILI9341 in ChibiOS
Hi thank you for developing this well functioning rtos library, I'm working with STM32F429 discovery board which has 2.4" ILI9341 tft screen. I'm using ARMCM4-STM32F429-DISCOVERY-DMA2D Chibios example project from TexZK's github to explore ChibiOS however I couldn't find out how to make some custom ...
