HI Giovanni,
thanks for your advice.
The error was not with your SPI driver, it was with my protocol. I made a little mistake and added a '0' to much in the command send to the chip. Now the chips talks with me.
I think I learned to always quadruple check the stuff I'm sending over the bus

Re: NFC with PN352 on STM32F4
HI Giovanni,
the device requires SPI mode 0 or more preciese CPHA 0 and CPOL 0 and it is also configured like this.
best,
Steve

Re: NFC with PN352 on STM32F4
Hi guys,
I started porting the driver from Adafruit for Arduino to the ST32M4 and since it is the first driver port I do, I ran into some problems.
According to the driver from Adafruit and the datasheet of the PN532 http://www.nxp.com/documents/user_manual/141520.pdf the SPI is ...

NFC with PN352 on STM32F4
Hello guys,
I'm planning on using the PN352 over SPI to communicate via NFC with an Android mobile phone. I'm probably going to use the breakout board from adafruit http://www.adafruit.com/products/364 and they are also providing a C++ library to communicate with the PN352 over SPI on ...

Re: STM32F429I-Disco with SDCard
Since I was asked by a PM, here is my working code.
First a simple main.c to test you configuration and then the configuration for GPIOC and GPIOD. Please note that I renamed the pin defines to fit their new function.
/* ChibiOS */
#include "ch.h"
#include "hal.h"
/* FatFS */

Re: getting HRNG to work
Hi,
I got the ISR running and it is working as expected, but I still do not understand some things.
can you explain them to me?
How do you know you have to use Vector180 as the ISR?
And also why do you use
nvicEnableVector(80, CORTEX_PRIORITY_MASK(<priority>));
insted of
nvicEnableVector ...

Re: getting HRNG to work
Hi Giovanni,
can you tell me how to do that or point me to an example?
EDIT:
You probably mean this, right?
EDIT2:
I have a follow up question, how do I register an interrupt on the RNG?
best,
kiwi

getting HRNG to work
Hello guys,
I'm using a STM32F4 and I'm currently trying to get the build in RNG to work. Did any of you ever tried this before?
I used stm32f4xx.c and stm32f4xx.h and also added the corresponding stm32f4xx_rcc.c and stm32f4xx_rcc.h to get it to compile. (I also had to delete all the asset_param ...

Re: STM32F429I-Disco with SDCard
Ok, but shouldn't this mean I configured the pins incorrectly?
Here is a diff of my board.h to configure the pins PC8-PC12 and PD2 as AF12. Is this correct at all?
Sorry for the basic questions.
-#define VAL_GPIOC_AFRH (PIN_AFIO_AF(GPIOC_PIN8, 0) | \
- PIN_AFIO_AF(GPIOC_I2C3_SDA, 4) | \
- PIN ...
