How are you storing events in chibistudio then? GDB could be used to store events, but what would mean it has to invoke a breakpoint, then read out the event and store. This would be very slow i believe.
So what chibistudio is doing is basically decoding the trace buffer data only? If that is the ...

Re: GDB plugin for chibios backtrace
Yes, you can use backtrace (bt) and that will allow you to traverse the stack and check variables and stuff ( given a unwinder is present for the architecture). But from what i gather, there is a much more powerful version of this in chibistudio.

Now the development branch contains support for the arm-none-eabi compiler. Making it easier and faster to use.

GDB plugin for chibios backtrace
Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone has implemented any chibios backtrace functions for gdb? Anything similar to the one in chibistudio?

[linux] Vim/NeoVim + chibios + YouCompleteMe + Ycm-Generator
Hello!
I guess this might actually be a kind of a niche topic but still. I just wanted to show people that are using vim as an editor while doing projects with ChibiOs (Like I am) that there is a way to get the supernice autocompletion in vim and the ChibiOs project, from what I have seen it also ...

Using SysTick for other tasks when in tickless mode
Hello!
As i understand it tickless mode is not using the systick_handler or timer. This means that i could potentially use the systick timer myself without having to worry about breaking something in ChibiOS. If that is correct i was planning on implementing a systick handler with the highest prio ...

Usb serial bursting data since move to 16.1
Hello!
I have been using the serialusbdriver on my stm32f4 in conjunction with the chprintf functionality. It has been working fine when i was on the stable_3.0 branch.
Now when i am using the same code, the usb is sending unevenly, it now only sends data over the USB in chunks of ~250 bytes ...

Re: chSyshalt with reason "chThdResumeI" from SPID1
I am not sure i follow, i am personally not using any chThdResumeI, to wake the thread i am only using the chEvtSignalI(trp,1) call. That is one of the reason the error is so confusing. The only mechanism i am using is the chEvtWaitAny, and the chEvtSignalI that i showed from the code. I am doing as ...
