Re: STM32F030F4
It works with gcc 4.7.4, thanks for all the help getting this working.

Re: STM32F030F4
ok, that is on gcc 4.9. I'm using 5.1.0 and LTO wasn't working either. I'll try the older version.

Re: STM32F030F4
The bin you sent works. Maybe it's my compiler? Here is the board I'm using http://www.aliexpress.com/item/ST-M0-mi ... 84748.html It's pretty cheap to play around with.

Re: STM32F030F4
So I've made some progress with your example Eddie. It seems like there are some issues with chThdSleepMilliseconds not returning though. With the example blink code you provided it was not blinking. If I change the sleep to a delay it blinks.
void delay (int a);

Re: STM32F030F4
your example compiles and flashes fine (changed GPIOA_LED_GREEN to GPIOA_PIN5, that's where my led is hooked up). It's not blinking though, the led is at about 1/4 brightness (the same on all port a pins).

Re: STM32F030F4
Thanks Eddie, was that with Chibios 2 or 3? I'm using 3 now. I updated stm32f0xx.h, hal_lld.h, stm32_registry.h, and made stm32f030x4.h (copied from stm32f030x6.h). I also updated the board.h and board.c to just have GPIOA, since the 030F4 only has port A. it compiles fine again, but still hangs at ...

Re: STM32F030F4
Sorry, my fault. I didn't update the board.mk when I copied it. It is not compiling now. I'm adding the 030F4 to the headers now by coping the 030F6 settings. I'll see if I can get it to work now. Thanks for the help.

Re: STM32F030F4
No I didn't update the headers, you mean the hal_lld.h and stm32_registry.h? In my board.h I changed the MCU type to "#define STM32F030x4". It is still compiling though. I tried reflashing it again, and it's just hanging, when I interrupt it now it's stuck at the pal initialization:
#0 0xfffffffe ...
#0 0xfffffffe ...

Re: STM32F030F4
I modified the STM32F0 discovery board and demo to the 030F4 part, so there may be some residual differences. They have the same max freq though, so the clock speed should be ok. Also with 16k of flash and 4k of ram maybe I should be trying the NIL rather than RT core.

STM32F030F4
I'm trying to set up a board for the STM32F030F4, I think I have everything correct. I wrote a quick test program to blink an led, it compiled and flashed ok, but it's not blinking. Could someone verify I set everything up right? Some of the configs I'll just post the relevant portions.
