Update
Well today, i figured out that the problem only occurs if i'm trying to read any number amount of chars than 512 (Fits with the size of a sector)
So i have found a work around, by creating my own read string function. Since the read string function provided by the FATFS reads 1 and 2 chars ...

Re: STM32F429 FatFs reading random chars
I've now bought a new board, and tried again.
And still getting the error. Next step will be buying some different SD cards, to test with.

STM32F429 FatFs reading random chars
I've posted a bit ago in here with FATFS misbehaving, iv'e tried with different brands and size of SD card, both formatted as FAT16, and FAT32.
But still getting some semi random characters read out, but always same sequence of bytes.
If any one who have some time to spare to either run the code on ...

STM32F429 FatFs misbehaving
When i try to read a file with FATFS on a sd card attached through SPI.
I get a weird error, starting from when i have read the first 47 bytes, then there will be 56 bytes of data, which is not in my file, and the the text from my file starts again. This happens for every 512 bytes.

Chibios + LWIP - No broadcast
For 1 week ago, the broadcast worked fine for me with the same code. Then i started adding some code for TCP usage, and know my broadcaster code dosn't work anymore. I have tried with both IP_ADDR_BROADCAST instead of an IP and used 255.255.255.255 as an ip. Still dosn't work. But if i set it to my ...

HAL watchdog implementation
Does there exist any official watchdog implementation for ChibiOS ?
And if not, can any one recommend an opensource implementation ?

Re: chMBPost is hanging STM32F429iDiscovery
Thanks, now i got the network working, and able to send udp broadcast.
I have copied the lwipopts.h from the demo project you referred to.
But even after i called the
lwipInit(NULL);
then i'm not able to ping the board. It doesn't seem to answer on the ARP requests. Do you know what could be ...

Re: chMBPost is hanging STM32F429iDiscovery
Hi,
What ChibiOS version are you using? this is likely an initialization order issue, the mailbox is used before it is initialized.
In 3.0.1 there is a new initialization method that should avoid that issue.
