Re: Hard fault when enabling HSI on STM32F042

Thanks, I figured that out and checked it out from GitHub.

The Nucleo32 demo runs fine, so clearly I must have made some mistake when adapting one of the other boards. I guess I'll try using the Nucleo32 demo as a base and changing it to be os-less.

Hard fault when enabling HSI on STM32F042

Just trying out the ChibiOS HAL on STM32F042 for the first time, but I'm running in to a hard fault almost right away. I tracked it down to the very first part of __early_init when HSI is enabled. Here's my GDB session:

(gdb) si
__early_init () at ../../ChibiOS/os/hal/boards ...

Re: I2S documentation

Hi,

The documentation only reports those fields that are architecture-independent. Those two fields are STM32-specific and, note, are register names, the documentation is the STM32 Reference Manual. Additional notes about the use of the registers may be present in the driver structure (XXXDriver ...

Re: I2S documentation

So I'm also looking at using I2S and was browsing the documentation and had a question:

How come on http://chibios.sourceforge.net/docs3/ha ... onfig.html the last two fields of the struct (i2scfgr and i2spr) aren't shown?

I'm entirely new to ChibiOS so it's possible I'm missing something in how the documentation is laid out.
