Hello.
I don't know if os-less OSAL (ha/osal/os-less) is a part of ChibiOS/HAL, but osalSysLock/Unlock behaviour might be confusing on some targets. It invokes __set_BASEPRI(OSAL_IRQ_MAXIMUM_PRIORITY) (except for CortexM0) and OSAL_IRQ_MAXIMUM_PRIORITY is implicitly set to 1. Without taking priority ...

Re: STM32F072 USB CDC fail descriptor request
Well.. that was in fact obvious. In case someone would hit the same issue, my AHB bus clock was at 48 / 4 = 12Mhz, so my program was unable to meet usb timing specification (at least as I understand). Setting STM32_HPRE=STM32_HPRE_DIV1 solved the issue. I've found no mention about it in STm papers ...

STM32F072 USB CDC fail descriptor request
Hello!
I have a simple custom PCB with the stm32f072c8 chip onboard. The host OS can not enumerate the device:
A request for the USB device descriptor failed.
First I thought it might be the hardware issue, but in dfu mode it allows to read and flash the chip successfully. The schematic is as ...

Condition variables
Hello all. Sorry for asking here, as the question is not related exactly with ChibiOS, but rather theoretical. In my struggle to clarify the topic, I have looked through lots of examples. Most of it are just "consumer/producer" examples where one thread "feeds" data into another through a fifo pipe ...

Re: USB CDC fails at reconnect
Ayeah, it worked ok in tickless (delta=4)
But due to the lack of timers, I've decided to disable the tickless mode but missed the tick rate.

Re: USB CDC fails at reconnect
Finally... The os tick rate was set to 100kHz, after lowering down to 10kHz it works like a charm.

Re: USB CDC fails at reconnect
Our and ST code are entirely different so it is unlikely it is a SW issue.
That seems so, but the same code flashed into stm32f407 discovery board works ok. The bug also appears on reset, so it is unlike to be a slow power up issue.. Changing port/pc (Win8.1 x64/Win10 x64)/hub does not help ...

USB CDC fails at reconnect
Hello.
I am facing a weird bug now. The code is very simple:
int main(void) {
halInit();
chSysInit();
usbDisconnectBus(serusbcfg.usbp);
chThdSleepMilliseconds(1000);
usbStart(serusbcfg.usbp, &usbcfg);
usbConnectBus(serusbcfg.usbp);
sduObjectInit(&SDU1);
sduStart(&SDU1 ...

Re: Mailbox message
Thank you, Giovanni. It finally explains why usb works fine when I remove code within the callback.

Re: Mailbox message
Ok, here is what I have found.
The callback fires perfectly, except I had to enable STM32 CONTinuous ADC mode so it would restart each round:
ADC_CFGR1_RES_10BIT | (1U << 13U), // cfgr1 CONT=1
Now the callback code and the single thread running together:
static void adcCapture_cb(ADCDriver *adcp ...
