This is probably a false alarm. Perhaps using the debugger too intensively for longer times somehow brought chaos.
I backed of the changesets, hard powered down the development board, made sure all gdb and stm link processes were exited. Then after reapplying my changesets one by one and testing it ...

Re: Debugging unhandled exception.
Sorry to be digging up an old thread, but I'm having trouble debugging unhandled exceptions and perhaps someone can help.
Observation: as soon as I change any of the aliases (that all point to the same _unhandled_exception function) then the program no longer works. It gets stuck in the _unhandled ...

Re: ADC conversion blocks in osless HAL
It seems to work now!
Apparently I did not fully understand these configuration bits yet. I think I got the hang of them now.
Thank you for helping me out!
It's also working without OS.

Re: ADC conversion blocks in osless HAL
Okay, thanks. I'll have a try.

Re: ADC conversion blocks in osless HAL
Do you think it might be an issue with using os-less hal?
It appears not.
I attached an example using the RT os, it has the same issue.
I made a minimalist example, based very much on the f446re demo, where I try to do an ADC conversion in the main loop.

Re: ADC conversion blocks in osless HAL
Unfortunately it's still locking in the same place.

I have copied over the Makefile, mcuconf, halconf, osalconf from the f446re nucleo64 board example, and linked it to the latest trunk version (@9401)

Re: ADC conversion blocks in osless HAL
I was eyeballing the trunk version before (with a few changes to my makefile I could compile with trunk), but indeed now I pulled in some very interesting looking changes that I didn't have yet
I have the code to the point where it compiles, but I need to wait until tomorrow until I'm able to test ...

It uses latest stable chibios, but I added a board definition for the nucleo f446.
I don't know if it's any good, though.
