Hello, there are 3 main sub-series of STM32L0 series:
STM32L0xx1, STM32L0xx2, STM32L0xx3
Judging by the os/hal/ports/STM32L0xx/stm32_registry.h here is the current support status:
STM32L011xx - supported
STM32L021xx - unsupported (same as STM32L011xx, but with encryption)
STM32L031xx ...

Re: Need an advice about RT/HAL primitives to use for a USART "proxy" application
Grazie!
Really, your post is very helpful, thanks a lot.
I'll try to go with 4 threads (or even more, because I need to talk to sensors too).
Concerning UART vs. Serial, I think I'll go with UART for its speed because there is constant flow of messages at 57600bps in both directions (commands ...

Need an advice about RT/HAL primitives to use for a USART "proxy" application
Hello, I'm completely new to ChibiOS/RT and HAL but I've read the ChibiOS book and tinkered with the source codes to understand its structure, so I have some understanding.
I must make a decision about the application structure (should I use synchronous messages or events or buffer queues? etc ...

Re: STM32L152RE UART driver problem
[nfo]#define STM32_UART5_HANDLER Vector105[/nfo]
Shouldn't this be Vector104?

Re: STM32L152RE UART driver problem
Molte grazie!
Sure, I will return with a feedback on Monday or Tuesday, once I test it.

Re: STM32L152RE UART driver problem
the official repository of ChibiOS is on sourceforge and is a svn. Most likely you have downloaded a mirror.
Yes, the repository seems to be an up-to-date mirror, I'm not familiar with SVN, sorry.
Anyway is good to know the version of HAL you are using. Take a look to \os\hal\include\hal.h ...

STM32L152RE UART driver problem
Hello, I'm trying out ChibiOS (the latest revision from GitHub), I need to use all the available USART and UART ports of my Nucleo borad with STM32L152RE and it seems I need a little help. The microcontroller has 3 USARTS and 2 UARTS, I want USART2 as serial (for debugging) and the other 4 as U(S ...
