Hello,
I've been scrathing my head to get two fdcan interfaces working simultaneously, from what I've gathered the problem lays in the fact that both interfaces share the same memory area. I've tried spliting them into two 1280 word area's but this doesn't seems to solve the issue.
Any help would ...

Thank you for your feedback, I remove that sleep from the code right away.
Edoardo
Would it be possible to remove it as well from at least the latest stable version, stable_21.11.x?
Sure,
I'll do it in the next few days.
Edoardo

Could you give me some feedback on how FDCAN works without that sleep?

Hi Edoardo,
After a week in production without that sleep command, I haven't encountered any issues with FDCAN transmission.
It seems we can safely remove it.
The issue I encountered was due to a flaw in my code ...

Re: FDCAN with STM32H735
I encountered a limitation caused by the chThdSleepS(OSAL_MS2I(1)) delay in the FDCANv2 driver for STM32. A similar delay also exists in FDCANv1 .
Due to this delay, I’m unable to send CAN FD frames faster than 1 kHz from a single thread, whereas my application requires a 2 kHz transmission rate ...

Re: FDCAN with STM32H735
Hi,
Rather than introducing low-level APIs, I would suggest calling a stop and start of the driver instead. Do you have any objections to this potential solution?
I understand the inconvenience to add new low level API.
In a typical application there is a reception thread, emissions are spread ...

Re: fdcanV2 wrong assertion in the filtering code
Hello,
First, I want to thanks Edoardo for the hdcanv1/v2 refactor, and filtering integration.
I will in the future submit some patches driven by real usager in flying machine.
For now just a simple bug, fdcanv2 will wrongly assert when using filtering on CAND1 :

Re: FDCAN with STM32H735
Hello,
I have made the changes to the FDCANv1 and FDCANv2 drivers in the ChibiOS trunk (rev 16769).
The behavior of both drivers is now the same: an event is triggered as soon as there is a message in the RX FIFO.
It will be the application's responsibility to read all the messages that the RX ...
