Hi Giovanni,
I looked at your latest fix, the "if dummy != 0" condition should cover the spiIgnore instead of spiReceive.
Besides this, we also need to do the same condition for function bus_cmd_addr_dummy_receive()

Re: Improvement for serial_nor complex lib to support dummy cmd and 4-bytes address for normal SPI
Hi,
Added support for 4 bytes address but had to do some changes, "dummy" is meant to be expressed in cycles not in bytes, the assertions checks that the passed value is a multiple of 8. I also avoided the use of that 16 bytes buffer and the number of dummies is now unlimited.
I don't have HW to ...

Improvement for serial_nor complex lib to support dummy cmd and 4-bytes address for normal SPI
One of our serial nor flash required address to be 4-bytes and some commands receive need to have dummy cycles in normal SPI mode.
Suggest bus_cmd_addr_dummy_receive() and bus_cmd_dummy_receive() to be enabled for normal SPI mode as well and add SNOR_SPI_4BYTES_ADDRESS flag to tell the driver it's ...

STM32L4/L4+ I2C4 BDMA
Hi,
The STM32L4/L4+ are using I2Cv3 where the I2C4 is using BDMA. However there is no BDMA in these processors. Is there any switch or option to switch I2C4 using DMA instead?

STM32L4xx PWM Combined Mode
Hi,
I need to generate 5-6 PWM output (all synchronized with each other) with a STM32L476 and some of these PWMs are run time adjustable on their frequency, duty cycle and phase shift.
To achieve this, i need to utilize the master and slave timer mode (one timer to trigger start the other timer ...

No task name for the shell
Hi,
Is the shell intended to not have any task name?
Calling "threads" command in the shell doesn't display the task name for the shell.
I'm adding chRegSetThreadName("tShell") into the shellThread task

Adding support for STM32L496xx/4A6xx
Hi,
We need the ports for STM32L496xx in ChibiOS and found there are ports here from ST.
I made some changes to the ChibiOS 17.6.1 (please check attached) :
- added the stm32l496xx.h and stm32l4a6xx.h into common/ext/CMSIS/ST/STM32L4xx
- changed the stm32l4xx.h to add in the 496xx/4a6xx defines ...
