Cool. Thanks Giovanni. Will keep that in mind. Yeah you are right, I could have gone with the Mailboxes, but just wanted to learn about using events. I also have an example projects repository that contains all the features that I have tried out in Chibios.

Working and simple example of Events, Listeners and Flags
I have seen several forum topics that starts with having doubts about Events, Listeners and Event Flags. I also had some doubts and researched a bit about how they work and the forum topics were also really helpful. So to give something back to community, I have a simple working example that uses ...

Re: MPU9250 gives garbage when spiExchange is used but not when spiSend
Maybe you are right. I even tried it with an Arduino and comparing both using a Logic analyzer. The chi(MPU9250) replies when there is a timegap of 6.4microseconds between the question(register I want to read) and its answer(contents of the register). But I am no expert in SPI and I am just starting ...

MPU9250 gives garbage when spiExchange is used but not when spiSend
Hi,
I am using MPU9250 to become familiar with Accelerometers and Gyroscope and eventually apply that knowledge by implementing Sensor fusion. I am using SPI to communicate with that chip.
Strangely I noticed that when spiExchange is used to get the data from the chip, it returns garbage but if I ...

Re: I2CD1 is not working
Hi Giovanni,
I am not using any other peripheral except I2C and Serial UART. Yeah, the assertions are kept as defaults in chconf.h. CH_DBG_SYSTEM_STATE_CHECK
and CH_DBG_ENABLE_STACK_CHECK are also TRUE. I also had the same doubt initially and triple checked whether the GPIOs are properly ...

I2CD1 is not working
First of all, thank you all very much for this amazing RTOS and making it OpenSource.
I have been trying for the last day to interface ADXL345 to STM32F4 discovery and has been unsuccessful before the last moment. The code was simple, as I was just testing it and it includes just to read device ID ...
