Re: KEIL compilation problem
Thanks alexblack this saved me a lot of time searching for the problem.
Giovanni Looking forward to the update of the file.
alexblack wrote:The problem is in the file "chcore_timer.h" - static inline functions use stStartAlarm and others. This file must be linked with extern "C" also.

Re: LLD Versions
Ah neat,
Is this something you plan on doing soon?
if not is there any git diff/pull requests/ etc so that I could do it on my local repo? A link would be good.
Thanks for the fast response.
Cheers

LLD Versions
Hi
I'm using the STM32F405 chip and I'd like to use the UART idle detection to detect a break in data transmission on a UART.
My implementation will need to receive packets of data of indeterminable length that are separated by a pause in transmission.
It looks like this has only been implemented ...

FIXED SPI CPP wrapper problems.
Ok school boy error
void aquire(void) {
spiAcquireBus(spip);
SPIConfig config;
config.circular = false;
config.end_cb = NULL;
config.cr1 = SPI_CR1_MSTR | SPI_CR1_BR_2;
config.cr2 = 0;
spiStart(spip, &config);
}
config needed to be const.
Thanks for you time Giovanni

Oh yeah I understand that.
Problem is how to find it

Re: SPI CPP wrapper problems.
OK with the following minimum TRUE in chconf.h my test code ran.
CH_DBG_SYSTEM_STATE_CHECK
CH_DBG_ENABLE_CHECKS
CH_DBG_FILL_THREADS
unfortunately the main code does not.
gets to _unhandled_exception:
ch.dbg.panic_msg == 0

Re: SPI CPP wrapper problems.
OK just enabled all debuggin options in chconf.h and now it is working with out a crash.
I'll go through and find which one is responsible for the change and report back.

Re: SPI CPP wrapper problems.
Nope spiStart is called from within the aquire method.
void aquire(void) {
spiAcquireBus(spip);
SPIConfig config;
config.circular = false;
config.end_cb = NULL;
config.cr1 = SPI_CR1_MSTR | SPI_CR1_BR_2;
config.cr2 = 0;
spiStart(spip, &config);
}

config.cr2 = 0;
spiStart(spip, &config);
