Hi,
I have got a new board " waveshare" with "stm32f746Igt" (CRYSTAL 8MHZ ). Core746I-Schematic .
I have started with chibios demo chibios2111/demos/STM32/RT-STM32F746ZG-NUCLEO144 . my programmer is st-link v2 .
The code is freezing in "stm32_clock_init" function. I haven't have any idea what is the ...

How to use Objects FIFO?
Hi,
I want to use FIFO object to transfer array data from one thread to another but the data received wrong .
At first I have initialize the FIFO:
#define FIFO_obj_available 2
union U_g_b{
GPS_b_msg GPS_b;
uint8_t data[sizeof(GPS_b_msg)];
}u_msg_send,u_msg_rec;
#define FIFO_OBJ_SIZE ...

Re: How to get real continuous time
One of the following solutions:
1) Use an STM32 with a 32 bits timer.
2) Disable tick-less mode, that will use a 32 bits counter variable.
3) Use 64 bits time stamps, this is available on RT7 and forward.

How to get real continuous time
Hi,
I have stm32f103,
I have used
to get real time but the time reset every 32s (16bit).
How can I get 32bit time or 64?
Thanks for any help.

I have used
Code: Select all
TIME_I2MS(chVTGetSestemTime())
to get real time but the time reset every 32s (16bit).
How can I get 32bit time or 64?

thanks for replay :
i will test it,
if I set CAN_ENFORCE_USE_CALLBACKS TRUE, can i have faster speed?
and how can i use callback function?

Re: can reseved problem
Hard to tell without looking at the actual traffic, most of the work is done by the peripheral in HW, the driver itself is very thin.
Few questions:
- Are you emptying the RX queues when you get a CAN event? you need to read until it is empty.
- Do you get CAN errors?
