Thanks for your quick answer ! It solved the problem ! I assumed that Eclipse came pre-updated but that was my bad, sorry for wasting your time on a small issue.
The board gen script could be useful in case someone run into some other issues.

I have the exact same issue except that when I select (highlight) the board.chcfg file and click on "Generate files from Configuration Data" it still does nothing except popping up the console. I'm running the latest Win 11 version. I'm trying to configure a stm32f042k6 board.

What i tried ...
