Re: CDC ACM under Windows.
windows 10 have generic USB CDC driver, you don't have to use any 3rd party drivers, all working "from the box"

Re: Time measurement in seconds
Separate thread with inc to variable and 1 second delay working fine and pretty accurate.
Thanks!

Re: Chibios and RDP
Btw, i've checked read out data protection (RDP) level 1.
All working fine, no problems at all.

Time measurement in seconds
Hello!
I'm totally miss how to measure time in seconds.
Task: store time for each event and send (upon request) time in seconds for each event - how old it happen.
Code:
//! time variable
static uint32_t last_time_in_seconds=0;
//! update timer function
static void UpdateTime(void)
{

Chibios and RDP
Hi!
Does anyone try to protect firmware based on ChibiOS from readout?
I mean readout data protection (RDP) or Proprietary Code Read Out Protection (PCROP).
Seems, that RDP level 1 should work fine, but i'm not sure.
Does anyone have successful expirience?

Thanks for you reply!
Seems, that EXTI and 1 shared timer is only one way, if i don't want to use 2 timers...

ICU for several pins
Hi!
This question may be not ChibiOS, but stm32 related.
I would like to capture via ICU two signals on same timer. For example, if i use ICUD4 and would like to capture CHANNEL 1 and CHANNEL 2 (PB6 and PB7 pins) - is that possible?
If so, how to understand what pin cause an interrupt? And what ...

Re: Mailbox for transfer large amounts of data
Hi!
Giovanni tell everything, set prio to high and that's works.
I'm also lower frequency from 1 mhz to 500 khz (in my case this is acceptable).
However, all depends from your worker thread, if it make some huge calculations, some messages can be missed.

Hello!
And which mode is faster (less overhead for switching) - tickless or casual?
