[DONE] SDC read fails.

Hi,

I have a very strange problem. My program is working ok with an older toshiba 2GB micro SD card and with the newer one from the same manufacturer(2GB) I get errors.
I was able to debug the problem and found that it sometimes fails here while trying to read from the card.

Starting the DHCP in STM32 demo

Any idea how to start the DHCP in the lwip demo with STM32 and ChibiOS ?

I added this in lwipthread.c but the program halts somewhere in dhcp_start!

Code: Select all

  netif_set_default(&thisif);
#if LWIP_DHCP
  dhcp_start(&thisif);
#endif
  netif_set_up(&thisif);

Re: ChibiOs stuck in chSchReadyI

Yes, it is the stack I made it bigger and is ok now.

How can I check the stack of each thread in IAR and also the call stack of the threads it could be very useful?

Re: ChibiOs stuck in chSchReadyI

Yes it is enabled, but still the same result. I suspect there is something in the fatfs port. Because in one of the threads I do fs_write if I remove it works......

Re: ChibiOs stuck in chSchReadyI

This is called in chSysTimerHandlerI which calls chSchReadyI.

Let me explain what I have to get a better idea I have two threads
1. the first does chEvtWaitOneTimeout
2. the second does chEvtSignalFlags the first one
3. the second goes to chEvtWaitOneTimeout waits for the first to signal it
4. the ...

ChibiOs stuck in chSchReadyI

ChibiOs stuck in function chSchReadyI: (chschd.c) because cp->p_prio = 0 and tp->p_prio = 0

do {
cp = cp->p_next;
} while (cp->p_prio >= tp->p_prio);

Any Idea why this happens?

I suspect that there is problem with :
chEvtSignalFlags and chEvtWaitOneTimeout
Or something gets very fast do not ...

Re: STM32 unhandled exception and I2C

I found the problem was that I was not using proper tx/rx data pointers for the I2C DMA.

I am getting unhandled exception while doing I2C transfers, how can I find what is the cause if it is the DMA or something else?
