Hi,
Long times ago I played with ChibiOS/RT and RPI, now I got some time to dig a bit deeper. Before I used Microchip PIC which comes with an IDE, but I don't want to stuck with the PIC so I started with RPI with GCC cross compiler.
I had a look on the RPI port and I found the IRQ handler in the ...

Re: Unable to run application with hard floats
Hi,
Yes I did, I made the same calculation 5000 times and I measured this time interval.

Re: Unable to run application with hard floats
Hi
Thanks for your help, now it's working, a bit faster than before, from 2.4ms to 1.9ms.
I'm making some matrix operation which include dynamic memory allocation and also I'm using memory management function like memcpy, memset etc.

Unable to run application with hard floats
Hi,
I wanted to test the running speed between the hard float and soft float, so I made a simple example:
unsigned long i, j;
unsigned long start = chTimeNow();
float * data;
float * data2;
data = (float *) calloc(100000, sizeof(float));
data2 = (float *) calloc(100000, sizeof(float ...

How can I measure the runtime of the code?
Hi,
I'm using the following code to measure the runtime of my code
start = chTimeNow();
my code
end = chTimeNow();
chprintf((BaseSequentialStream *) &SD1, "%fus\r\n", RTT2US(end - start));
I'm reciving 19 or 20 us, I never expected that my code is so fast. Am I measuring the running time in the ...
