Dennis,
Thank you. I downloaded ChibiStudio_Preview3.7z a few days ago and saw the OpenOCD files. I didn't know if it was necessary to install ChibiStudio to transplant the debugger bits into SPC5Studio. It might not be necessary, but I can see that it makes it easier to manually set up the debug ...

Dennis,
Can you provide a brief description of how you installed the OpenOCD feature from ChibiStudio 3 into SPC5Studio?

Re: [FINALLY] SPC5Studio and STM32
Giovanni,
A pre-configured OpenOCD package would be a nice cherry on top of the cake. Are you building OpenOCD from source? I got Freddy Chopin's 0.6.2 build to talk to my board (STM32F4Discovery) a month or so ago, but didn't have enough motivation to integrate it with the Eclipse Indigo I was was ...

Re: I2C driver for STM32F0
Hi goeck,
This past weekend I did get a bit further along. The reason I had to fix the platform.mk manually is because I'm using the STM32F3, not the F0,
and the F3's platform.mk did not build I2C.
I have found that there are other differences between the I2C implementation on the F0 and F3 ...

Re: I2C driver for STM32F0
I put in a brief effort to use doceme's I2CV2 driver on my STM32F3Discovery, without success.
I hope I have some time this weekend to sort it out on my own, but I am posting my initial experience in case someone has already succeeded in using the I2CV2
driver with the STM32F3 discovery.

Re: Compiling duration
Google search with keywords "mingw make implicit rules slow" shows that the poor performance of mingw/msys make without -r is widely experienced. It has been reported since at least 2008. Probably because it works well enough by disabling the implicit rules, no one has yet seen fit to fix whatever ...

Re: Compiling duration
I have also been appalled be the slowness of make, even when run from the command line. I'm also using MSYS make, and will be fixing the path ASAP
I will try this method to set the tool paths needed for ChibiOS builds:
