Hi
1)I am interfacing STM32F4 discovery with a JY-MCU bluetooth-serial module. Discovery kit communicates with JY-MCU over UART2 peripheral. Is there a way I could monitor the communication on my laptop screen? I mean can discovery relay all the serial data transfer to computer over USB cable?
A ...

CH_Frequency and Time measurement driver STM32F4 discovery
I want to find the time in which my loop executes. I am using Time measurement driver. How is ch_frequency related to timing precision??
Curently Ch_frequency is set at 1000 and best time measurement gives 8550. This value increases to 36117 if I increase ch_frequency to 1,000,000.

Re: How do I get system clock frequency?
I guess you would have figured it out already. In case you didn't:
When the kernel has been initialized, the main() function becomes a thread as well. It is documented in the demo:
/*
* Application entry point.
*/
int main(void) {
/*
* System initializations.
* - HAL initialization ...

Re: STM32F4 Discovery UART 2
Thanx a lot Giovanni!
Actually I have very limited knowledge of operating system stuff like thread, working area, events etc that's why I had to ask so many basic questions.
Cheers

Re: STM32F4 Discovery UART 2
Actually I have to control a motor's speed depending on what I receive on the serial port. So I want to have an interrupt like function that would inform me whenever a byte arrives on the serial port.
One last question. Will the SD2 notify me by itself or I will have to poll??
Cheers

Re: STM32F4 Discovery UART 2
sorry if this is a noob-ish question but I can't see how to use Rx buffer full and Tx buffer empty interrupts??
There is a single option (bit rate) in the serial Config structure. How to set interrupts??

Re: STM32F4 Discovery UART 2
Thanks for the suggestion. My requirement is just simple transmission and reception so I guess serial driver would do.
I have been searching the web for an example regarding the serial driver. Actually its my final year project and i am running out of time. Can you please tell me how can I get the ...

STM32F4 Discovery UART 2
Hi
I need to use UART module of STM32F4 discovery kit. I have been going through the documentations but am unable to get the UART module running.
Here is the configuration instance. For simplicity, i have disabled all the callbacks.
static UARTConfig uartcfg = {
NULL, /* End of Transmission ...

Dead time for TIM1
Hey all
I am making a BLDC driver board using stm32f4 discovery
I need to introduce dead time in PWM channels... Can some one tell me how to do it??
