Re: EXT Driver Crashing on STM32F4 Discovery

Hi Giovanni

Testhal\EXT\main.c test code was disabling the EXT every 5 seconds for 5 seconds. No wonder I was missing interrupts :)

All fixed now and all working

Thanks again

Re: EXT Driver Crashing on STM32F4 Discovery

Project was set to 25MHz cru\ystal, but STM32F4 only has 8MHz crystal on board.

Changing this to 8MHz has stopped the crashing, but for some reason when pressing the pushbutton, I don't always get an interrupt.

Anyway, I will dig further

Re: EXT Driver Crashing on STM32F4 Discovery

If you mean existing keil demos for Chibios then yes. The only one I have really tried is the STM32F4 Discovery demo . Flashes a few LEDS etc.
That one works perfectly and runs indefintely.

Re: EXT Driver Crashing on STM32F4 Discovery

Hi Giovanni,

Have tested the it again with a new working STM32F4 discovery board. Still the same problem.

System setup: Standard latest Chibios. Replaced the demo main.c for Discovery board with the main.c in testhal\EXT\
All optimisations turned off. Debugging turned on. Compiled with no warnings ...

EXT Driver Crashing on STM32F4 Discovery

Hi,

I am trying to get the EXT driver working on STM32F4 Discovery. When in debug mode I can see that the interrupt from the push buuton is being "seen" by the ext_lld_isr interrupt routine for EXT_Line0.
However, afer a few times of receiving this interrupt I notice the system has crashed and the ...

Re: Bitmap on button

Hi Tectu,

Thanks.

Sure. Will have to mail it to you as I am clueless on git stuff. Will send it this evening as I don't have the source with me at work.

Bitmap on button

Hi,

I have over the weekend modified the createbutton function to take two extra arguments i.e. a bitmap for "button pushed" and a bitmap for "button released". The new function also uses the size of the bitmap(square) to determine the touch area. Works really nicely and looks great although my ...
