Well, I'd be very happy to work on such a project.

I am currently writing on my GUI abstraction layer. I am implementing different types of keyboards :)

To brainstorm session: sure, but how and where?

How about on the wiki page? add any ideas / functionality / API stuff you think would be useful. If all interested parties add their ideas to the spec then we can discuss them and come up with something that will work for everyone

You could add a brainstorming sub-page where we can write all ideas in no particular order and add comments, ideas could then be moved in the main page.

Alternatively we can use a dedicated forum.

Please have a look on my project in the user projects section - it's a working 2.4" LCD S6D1121 controller with some UI code:

There is a freehand drawing and Wave Player currently implemented:

Testing the ChibiOS LCD Driver by Tectu right now.

We should try to unify the efforts in the LCD driver direction :-)

I fully agree.

I still try to move everything to here: http://forum.chibios.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=458

Is that a bad idea?

I think a sub form could be helpful. Then we can discuss each aspect of the project in its own thread.

Thanks,

Are we sure that we still need both threads? How about creating a new, clean thread, and just use that from now on?
