in search of a name

I thought that GLCD is quite a generic name for the library (indeed there are many similarly named projects out there). So in IRC we were trying to come up with some better names, and mabl got the ball rolling with a stupid acronym:

12:37 < mabl00> SAGCLCDlib (super awesome generic Chibios LCD library)

I used the Acronym Creator website to generate some ideas. I liked:

• LARD - LCD Abstracted Render Driver (or ChibiLARD)
• ChLORIDE - Chibios (or Chloride for some recursive-acronym goodness) Lcd Optical Render Interface Driver Extension
• DISGRACE - DISplay GRAphical Chibios Extension

Nothing, it just makes it a recursive acronym (like WINE)

I would give it a name more in line with the parent project, for example ChibiOS/GFX (or any other suffix you like).

We already have ChibiOS/RT for Real Time, following the pattern a File System would be ChibiOS/FS a networking stack ChibiOS/TCP and so on. ChibiOS would be a generic name. I am considering making the HAL a separate effort under the name of ChibiOS/HAL.

"Chibi" is already plenty silly, no need to improve that

How do we put GLCD, Touchpad, GUI into one tag? ChibiOS/GTG?

Just an idea, you could make it simply "UI" since it is meant to include everything is interaction with an user. LARD would work too
