Support for MSPM0G310x

Postby HDKLog » Sat Jun 08, 2024 9:18 am

Hello, I was using microcontrollers in a small package and then I found a better MCU from TI which has twice the Flash and RAM, has 2 ADCs, and a slightly higher frequency. This could have a big impact on my project and I wonder if ChibiOS has any ports on this MCU. It is an Arm M0+ MCU and it also has some code examples for FREE RTOS, which makes me assume it would be easy and trivial to port (HAL+ OS) for ChibiOS. Could someone provide me with any information related to this topic?

Hi,

Porting the RTOS should be very easy, porting the HAL drivers is a lot of work.

Hi,

If the MCU you're referring to is an ARM Cortex-M0+ and has code examples for FreeRTOS, it's a good sign that ChibiOS could potentially be ported to it.
