error cloning project

hi,

I've downloaded viper enviroment for linux 64bit. I've extracted the archive in /opt directory and changed user:group and rights in Viper directory and recursively on all its subdirectories, but when i try to clone an example return me this error:

error cloning project: something wrong in git:

Where am I doing wrong?

I solved!
I selected in Viper/ide/examples/ the samples to be clone,
I converted line endings to LF in the main.py and project.md files.
