Hi,
I committed the fix on trunk, I just used the existing CORTEX_SIMPLIFIED_PRIORITY setting for this.
If CORTEX_SIMPLIFIED_PRIORITY is FALSE then the extra structure is not added, if it is set to TRUE then it is simply required, no need for another setting.
You either use fast interrupts or not. If you don't use those then CORTEX_SIMPLIFIED_PRIORITY is required too, it makes the kernel much more efficient.
Is this working for you? if so I will backport to stable versions too.
