We are still interested in 5v chips so now we have Cypress FM4 S6E2xx running ChibiOS as a prototype of alternative platform.

Most tested on S6E2CxAH - S6E2C5AH0AGV2000A (144-pin) to be exact.

Should probably mostly work on S6E2GH8 for instance S6E2GH8J0AGV20000 (176-pin).

Traditional "We've migrated to newer version of ChibiOS" post - this time we've migrated from 18 to 20 :)

we've integrated posix ChibiOS with SocketCAN - we can now test our Lua scripts with CAN logic on PC

Absolutely. On Linux SocketCAN seems to be extremely supported with options in all price ranges.

We did several simulation drivers a while ago and used with much success, were you able to use any?

And the Ardupilot project, also based on ChibiOs, implemented some socketCan interfaces.
