Confused as always - stm32f103 + ADC2

Post by enly1 »

Hi,

Just coming back to software development for a project after working out some of the hardware and was looking into ADC on the stm32f103c86t and wondered how I would get to use ADC2 should I need to ?

The F1x HAL appears not to have any options for ADC2. I did find some low level f103 files which had that reference, but couldn't work out how to bind them together and assumed it wasn't something like copy/paste over the top of the normal F1X hal.

Anyone know if this is supported etc ?

Thanks in advance.

PS - Not critical for me as I'm only needing to use one ADC for my project.

Hi,

You are right, ADC2 is not supported on the F1 because it does not have its own DMA channel. Support could be added but it would work as a slave of ADC1, much like it is done in the STM32F3 ADC driver.
