RTC Backup Registers and Backup SRAM

Post by Tabulous »

On the F4 there is 20 words of RTC Backup and 4K of Backup SRAM.

Is there any info on using this under Chiobios ?

One thing that comes to mind is to wrtie to regions you need to enable backup commands i.e. PWR_BackupAccessCmd(ENABLE);

Are there macros in Chibios that do the same as this ?

Currently there is not a dedicated PWR module support, access to PWR are done at register level where needed.

It could be an idea, stm32_xxxxx.h files are "helper drivers".

I am not sure if it would be compatible with all sub-families, it is possible we would need one for each sub-family (like the RCC one).
