Hello Giovanni,
I need to use different timer than timer 2 for STM32_ST_TIM on the STM32F072C8 and there is no other 32-bit timer. Can I use 16-bit timer? What is the limitation? Can I eventually use the RTC?
Thanks,
halba

Re: STM32_ST_TIM
Hi,
The limitation is that your system time is a 16 bits variable, so assuming the systick is 10kHz it is a 6.5seconds maximum interval.
You may want to use a lower frequency, 1kHz for example (65 seconds).
RTC cannot be used for this, make sure to select 16 bits in chconf.h.
