inemo tutorial

Post by Mr.Cscn »

Hi, i'm trying to develop a simple application with steval-mki121v1 , the inemo board. I just want to acquire data and blink a led, fixed a threshold.
Can someone tell me if there is a guide to begin to develop my own application with inemo? there is something of "already done" that i can use to start?
thanks

Hi,

An inemo demo is already included in the released ChibiOS and in ChibiStudio.

See under \demos\STM32\RT-STM32F103_INEMO_DISCOVERY, it blinks the LED and allows to send shell command via USB.

What drivers are you looking for? That directory isn't a normal part of the ChibiStudio distribution, and doesn't appear to be necessary.

from the chibios guide:
"You may need to install the drivers for your JTAG probe, OpenOCD has some
drivers under C:\ChibiStudio\tools\openocd\drivers. Please consult the
OpenOCD documentation in C:\ChibiStudio\tools\openocd\OpenOCD User’s Guide.pdf
and the documentation of your JTAG probe."
i can't find drivers and user's guide

Hi,

On http://www.playembedded.org there are video guides about ChibiStudio installation and use, you may start from there. It is very beginners-oriented.

Hello Mr.Cscn,

Did you first compile your program without any error?
That error mean that your program binary was not found.
Verify also if the path to the binary is the right one if you realy have a binary.

Theo.
