Hi all,
We are using ChibiOS version 17.6
With ARM GCC as Compiler on an STM32F446
We use an external I2C device. When the GND touch the SDA we get stucked in loop of interuptions on the I2C event.
I2C SDA on GND Topic is solved

Re: I2C SDA on GND
Hi,
Could you try the latest trunk code and verify if the problem persists? the driver has received fixes recently, this IRQ storm problem has already been reported.
Question, is it sufficient to short the pin without a transmission ongoing or you need to do that during an operation?

To merge the two problems : viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3634
If no transmision on going, shorting the pin does not cause any problem.
And also if we put our sampling rate to 10sec wee don't have this issue.
It s only happening when we are sampling at 10ms

Re: I2C SDA on GND
Have you tried repository trunk code?
Just a note, there is a SW I2C fallback implementation, you could try that if you don't have need for high speed (set USE_HAL_I2C_FALLBACK=yes in makefile).
