Does everybody have examples chibios base on IAR of stm8?

Hi, there isn't a demo yet, the IAR port is on hold because during development I hit a serious compiler bug. The compiler gives an internal error and fails when compiling with optimisations. Because of the the STM8 IAR code is not yet "official".

What compiler version are you using?

Hi Giovanni,

I am using iar V1.3. Before, I used cosmic compiler, but now cosmit unlimited to 8k, so I want to change to iar.

The version I used is 1.31 and had this problem, I am waiting for IAR to fix it and release a new version before doing another attempt.

In the meanwhile you can try the Raisonance compiler, it has a 32KB limit but it is unlimited in time. The generated code is not great but correct.
