there is a possibility that I've enabled it by mistake? how can i check it?
I'm not an expert like you, but the behaviour of my project& debugger, looks like the problem is the one reported... I've no any ideas, also becouse there aren't other things I've googled or that I can immagine....
The code was a very old demo heavily modified (possibly, even by more that one person)

Only if you enabled CORTEX_ENABLE_WFI_IDLE=TRUE somewhere, the option is not even available in configuration files.

Obviously, you were right.

CORTEX_ENABLE_WFI_IDLE is correctly set to false.

so, i've tryed to comment all my code, leaving just a infinite loop and
halInit();
chSysInit();
before that, and tryed with chibios 2.5.0, nothing changed...

I've Also tryed to search differences between board.h, and the only relevant one, a part the configuration of pins and some new defined functions, was the macro BOARD_NAME
changing the name to the new name, has apparently no effect :(

now I've finished all my ideas, i think i'll give up to this sort of black magic :(
even with chibistudio i can't get my program working...

thanks for the help

thank you for answering
I don't think we have the same problem...
At the beginning, i thought that it was a toolchain problem, but the toolchain is working either mine either the ChibiStudio one.
I can have the Chibios demo working perfectly....
what's not working is flashing and debugging my specific chibios application...
I think is a problem in the configuration files that I have'nt noticed or a problem in the makefile...
I'll try to disable even the FPU support, but I fear that it will be useless....
