stm32f407 SDIO problem

This something I wanted to know about too.

Single block aligned read performance: 1556 blocks/S

That's about 600us per block. Does that mean that using SD read will introduce 600us jitter or will Chibios and the SDIO hardware be able to ensure loss free reading whilst maintaining the usual fast RTOS servicing of other threads?

It is just the read performance for single blocks, other RTOS services are not impacted, threads are impacted or not impacted depending on their relative priorities.
