SPI - lcd interface with ILI9341 driver Topic is solved

Re: SPI - lcd interface with ILI9341 driver
Hello,
I would like to change the state of a GPIO between a SPI read and write without inducing any delay. Is it possible ?
Right now I got this using ChibiOS SPI:

GPIOs are too slow to do that. I am ready to do some low level driver if necessary but I need some guidance.

You can do that using PAL, GPIO is very fast, I don't understand what you mean with delays.

Re: SPI - lcd interface with ILI9341 driver
Is it the proper configuration for high speed GPIO ?
Is there a function to make a delay of 40ns to make a fast clock ?
Thanks,
Lyris
Code: Select all
palSetPadMode(GPIOB, DCX_PAD, PAL_MODE_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL | PAL_STM32_OSPEED_HIGHEST);
Is there a function to make a delay of 40ns to make a fast clock ?
Thanks,

Re: SPI - lcd interface with ILI9341 driver
Hi guys,
I figured out that my LCD what actually not working.
Seems like miso and mosi of my device are connected together somewhere...
I'll give some relevant feedback as I get my new high quality lcd working.
