Hi
I'm using a STM32F405. I need to generate valid error frames on the CAN bus, but I haven't found anything in the API for that. Is this even possible? I've succeeded to generate acknowledgement errors by using a wrong baudrate, but now I'd like to be able to control when error frames are sent, and what they contain. I don't care if it involves playing with low-level stuff, I just need a working solution.
Is it possible to generate CAN errors?

Re: Is it possible to generate CAN errors?
HI,
I never did that, is this even possible using the register-level interface of the bxCan?

To be honest, I have no idea. But after looking at the bxCan registers in the reference manual, I'm not very optimistic. I don't know how errors are handled at low-level, how frames are generated. All this stuff is still a little mystical to me
