No rule to make target crt0

When I try to compile in Eclipse, I get "no rule to make target crt0.c." I have placed linked folders to the os and board folders but it apparently doesn't find them. Are there some more environment variables to set?

Hi,

There are no particular env vars to set except PATH.

It is most likely a problem with the toolchain, could you try ChibiStudio? it is a preconfigured Eclipse environment with all the latest components.

Chibistudio doesn't seem to download. Did it take forever for you as well?

It is on the sourceforge page, you can also select another mirror if I remember well. Choose one closer to you.

I got chibistudio and it still has this message. Perhaps I should start a new project.

Hi,

Does this happen using one of the existing projects or a new project you created?

Are you launching ChibiStudio using the provided link/batch or by launching directly Eclipse.exe? you should use the link, it sets required env variables.

Which project type should I select when starting a new one? I tried chibios and makefile project and neither of them come with the files pre loaded.

Can I ask what platform are you using?
