It is hard to keep up with all the recent releases... Interesting device anyway, it should be a 32 bits in the price range of 8 bits.

Why would you use this instead of the STM32L100 Discovery?
Seems like similar chip features but the other one is lower power...

I think it is matter of price, the F030 has parts down to 20 pins and is advertised at 30 cents.
