Using the LCD on the STM32F429I-DISCO

Hi everybody!
I've recently bought a new STM32F429I discovery board because the specs made me dream (and the very low price!
) I've seen here http://forum.chibios.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=979 that a successful port of chibiOS has been made (great job!), and i wanted to know how to use the onboard LCD (eventually with the st firmware). I've tried to add a few files of the st firmware, but as more and more file compiles, they require dependancies and so on, and so i thought that was not a good idea.
Did anyone port that code yet, or has any advice/code that would enable me to start/stop the LCD and access pixel by pixel? I tried to look into the st lib but before porting anything myself I wanted to know if anyone had made that work before!
(Plus, i cant't really understand the AFRL in the STM32f4 family, i was a bit used to the STM32F1 and that was definitely simpler... This is my secondary problem...
)
Thanks!
