Often when I'm developing a ChibiOS application, and I want to configure a hardware peripheral in a non-standard way (in this case, a timer and DMA channel to generate single-wire serial protocol w/o CPU overhead), I will disable the HAL's use of the peripheral and configure it (and it's clocks, etc) using the relevant sections of ST's standard peripheral library. I've done this several times with good success under ChibiOS 2.6, and am just starting my first project under ChibiOS 3. What I find (specifically with the STM32F303; I haven't tried with anything else) is that there are several macros for register configuration which have changed names very slightly (RCC_CFGR_PLLMULL in stm32f303xc.h and RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL in stm32f30x_rcc.c). I believe (perhaps wrongly) that ChibiOS takes these headers from ST directly, and this suggests that my standard peripheral library came from a slightly different version than the CMSIS headers used in ChibiOS 3.
Is this indeed true? If so, where can I find the standard peripheral files which correspond to the right version?
I can go through and find/replace the offending macros, but I'm wary of introducing possible problems this way.
Any suggestions or advice would be welcome!

Re: ST Standard Peripheral on STM32F3, ChibiOS3
Hi,
Header files in ChibiOS 3.0 are not taken from the old Standard Library, which is now no more supported by ST, the files come from the "ST Cube" software.

I see! Thanks very much =)
In this particular case, I found that I can accomplish what I need with just ChibiOS drivers -- I'll look into ST Cube soon though!

aglaser, could you describe shortly your 1-wire code goals? Is STM writes data to 1-wire slave without any reading?
