ChibiOS Free Embedded RTOS

Hello,

the board configuration tool is very helpful. For minimizing the manual work I adapting the template files *.ftl under eclipse/configuration.
Is there any documentation about the template format available?

For editing the configuration files (*.chcfg) the XML editor from the Eclipse Web Tools Platform is used. It would be nice if the fields that require predefined values are not editable. Just the predefined values should be selectable.
I guess to solve this, I have to look in the Eclipse documentation.

Is the board confiuration plugin open source? I did not find any repository of it.

Hi,

All plugins are open source and all you need is ChibiStudio, it already includes all the Java components and PDT.

The repository is here: https://sourceforge.net/p/chibios/svn/H ... dio_trunk/

Just checkout the repository, create a Java workspace and import all the projects.

The templates are written in FreeMarker: www.freemarker.org. It is a ridiculously useful language.
