shell

Hi all,
I am struggling getting the shell working. I have ports like ttyACM0 and ttyUSB0 ... and I have got my UART working. But when I use putty on the ttyACM0 the screen stays black... no cursor. Screen ttyACM0 also black dead screen.
Do I have to do something special to get the shell working?

You should describe what you are doing because there is way too little context in your post.

I have tried to connect with putty and with shell command (/dev/ttyACM0) but I am not seeing the shell prompt...

Hi,
Under Linux I use CuteCom and it worked last time I tried, after connecting press enter, that will re-send the prompt.

Depending on your setup (including host OS), you might want to patch usbcfg.c (for now) in your project to do nothing on a SUSPEND event. See

Fixed it and is working (through USART [serial])
Example STM32F407 serial shell A2 A3
