STM32F313 opinions wanted

Hi all, I noticed that element14 has a bunch of stm32f313 devices on clearance. For ~2 CAD I can get some CM4 devices with a FPU, sounds too good to be true. Obviously they are end of life/obsolete and I'm interested only from a hobbyist perspective, but I was wondering if anyone has used these in the past with ChibiOS and if they have any known roadblocks? As best I can tell they are similar specs to the in-production f303 series. Documentation is hard to find (even the datasheet was difficult to search for on ST's site) and the only other information I saw was in a google cached site saying the STMF313 is incompatible with the F3 discovery (no explanation why).

Hi,
Is that even a genuine ST part? it is not listed anywhere on the ST web site, it could be some kind of chines clone.
I am curious, I will ask.

It would surprise me if element14 was selling unlicensed clones under ST's name. I would guess there is a load of them on sites like aliexpress because when products get EOL they sell them off in bulk?
This is a link to st.com showing the datasheet existed at one point

Then the question is, why obsoleted so quickly? ST is still supporting the very first F1 devices.

Indeed. I watched this happen with the STM32F050 series, it just disappeared. I just wish ST left the documentation around for the obsoleted parts. It's like they have tried to erase history. At least in the case of the F050 they released a document showing its limitations.
